Wow what a location in the centre of the Edinburgh city walking distance to the Castle and everything you would want in Edinburgh. Set in a cobblestone back lane, with quirky little pubs and bars all around it is perfect. We had a one bedroom apartment with laundry and kitchen facilities and after 3 weeks touring around Scotland it was great to use the kitchen to make a home made soup that lasted us for the 3 days of our stay. Beautiful and clean with helpful staff.

I have been staying in Braid apartments in Edinburgh on a regular basis for the past 5 years. I have had the pleasure of staying in Thistle Street last weekend and it was probably one of the best trips there. My one bedroom apartment had stunning views of Edinburgh, mountains and sea and even as far as The Queensferry Bridge. Having arrived late, the access to enter the property was very easy and straightforward. The side lamps were turned on for you on your arrival which makes you feel very welcome. From milk in the fridge, tea and coffee in abundance, to croissants and cereal left for breakfast, everything was supplied to get the day started. Even a courtesy tote bag is provided for you when doing your shopping. The accommodation is spotless and appeared to have been freshly decorated. Location is excellent and the street was very quiet in the evenings. I am now planning and looking forward to my next visit.

Very clean and comfortable apartment, kind and welcoming staff (as well Fabio à la réception as the housekeeping ladies), ideally located in New Town, very close to Prinses Street. Lively area where we felt safe.

The Braid apartments are in an excellent location in Edinburgh, within easy walking distance of key attractions. All the staff that we came across went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The apartment had great facilities and included a washing machine and dishwasher and a great bathroom. We would highly recommend the Braid apartments for your trip to Edinburgh .
